These documents contain important notes wriiten during a meeting about the atomic bomb and who they would target. Atomic scientists and military leaders met up to plan where their target would be. during this meeting hiroshima was discussed it was a main target because they wanted to give a warning. They also discussed bombing techniques, target selection, and overall mission requirements. Below is a quote from the notes in which they bring up the subject of bombing hiroshima. So in this source we can see that the war tactics are made by atomic scientists and the military leaders.

This top secret documnet discusses the disadvantages of having Guam as a base. Commander Ashworth is suggesting that they take over a new island through the method of island-hopping. the island they want to gain is the high command selected Tinian, an island in the Northern Marianas Islands. They want to have this island as a secure base for resourses and important base for the 509th composite group. The 509th composite group is a force of B-29 nuclear delivery vehicles that was being readied for first nuclear use. In this source we can see that the commander is giving suggestions on a new war tactic and plan that will help them before they drop the atomic bomb. Below the commander states that Tinian would be an excellent base.

In this diary entry Hemry Stimson, Secretary of War is writing about notes he had taken about harry trumans decision to use the atomic bomb. He also mentions the raw materials that were going to be used. Stimson questions Trumans decision on using the atomic bomb. in his opinion, the atomic bomb is one of the most horrific weapons created by human beings. this source proves that important military leaders and the president had an effect on the war tactics and strategies they chose to use.
