Cuban Revolution
"I began revolution with 82 men. If I had to do it again,
I do it with 10 or 15 and absolute faith.
It does not matter how small you are if you have faith
and plan of action"-Fidel Castro
What strategies were used in the Cuban Revolution and who created them? How were they made?

Guevara, Ernesto Che. "Guerrilla Warfare." Encyclopedia of Violence, Peace, & Conflict (2008): 901-13. Print. This piece is written by Ernesto "che" Guevara, he is a revolutionary that conrtibuted to the cuban revolution. The strategies that he wrote down were translated. In his writing he basically explains what guerrilla warfare is and how he used it throughout the revolution. Ernesto talks about the effects and impacts his strategies had on his enemies. This helps anwser myquestion on who made the battle plans. Also the battle plans that were made were based on the climate changes, disadvantages, and the enemies weaknesses . The cuban military had to adjust to their surroundings. In this piece Ernesto says "Guerrilla warfare, the basis of the struggle of a people to redeem itself, has diverse characteristics, different facets, even though the essential will for liberation remains the same. It is obvious -and writers on the theme have said it many times-that war responds to a certain series of scientific laws; whoever ignores them will go down to defeat"
In this photograph we see Che standing in front of some of his troops. i can assume that he is giving instruction on what is going to be done. In this picture Ernesto looks like he has several leadership qualities. Che was a important military leader that had a huge impact on the Cuban Revolution. The outcome of the revolution may have been alot different if Ernesto wasn't the person making battle plans and war tactics.
